My experience in preparing learners for a Cambridge certificate exam is extensive. You might be wondering what ESOL stands for; it stands for English for Speakers of Other Languages. That is the name of the department at Cambridge University that deals with teaching English as a foreign language. It is a separate entity from the university, however.
Cambridge was the first provider of English language certificates that evaluated learners’ levels and served as proof of proficiency. In the meantime, it is a big business and the certificates are internationally recognised as confirmed level assessment.
Using a course book and practice tests, I can help prepare a group or an individual for a certificate exam, which is taken at the British Council in Vienna.
